Zillur Rahman John is an international mime and pantomime Artist, Director, Teacher, Researcher and Author of mime books. John participated 34 international theatre and mime festivals around the world and directed solo, duet, trio, group and mimodrama productions in many countries. He also conducted innumerable workshops on mime and pantomime art. John has written books on mime and pantomime art and contributed more than 200 articles on arts and culture published in the Encyclopedia of Bangladesh. Zillur Rahman John received many awards from different countries and recently he has been honoured by the Canadian City of Edmonton. John received the award "The City of Edmonton Cultural Diversity in the Arts Award 2008".
